Role Overview
Pacific Medical, Inc. is seeking a full-time Certified Prosthetist Orthotist specializing in Cranial Remolding Orthosis for our Walnut Creek, CA Patient Care Facility. The individual will be responsible for evaluating, fabricating, and custom fitting artificial limbs and orthopedic braces.
What You Will Do
Examine patients, design and fit orthopedic and prosthetic devices, instruct patients in device use and care, and maintain patient records. The individual will also supervise and work with a dynamic team.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience in Cranial Remolding, be licensed and/or certified, and maintain CME’s annually. They will also be willing to supervise and work with a team, and attend training and meetings.
Requirements
- Currently licensed and/or certified by governing agency
- Cranial Remolding experience
- Annual CME’s
- Practice within scope of work
- Adhere to employee handbook guidelines
- Attend HIPAA compliance, sexual harassment training, and universal precautions training
