Job Details

The Sales Onboarding Lead is a member of the Global Enablement organization with a passion and proven track record for delivering learning experiences.  This person is aligned to the local Salesforce office and owns the new hire training function across Sales & Customer Success.  The ideal candidate has an in depth understanding of training and facilitation – a track record in delivering top scoring virtual and classroom learning experiences. This person manages a team of trainers who are expert facilitators that make learning fun and impactful.  The Sales Onboarding Lead is ultimately responsible for ensuring our new hires become role-ready drivers of customer success, training our sales and success professionals with the right knowledge, skills and confidence to meet and exceed their goals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver dynamic and interactive learning experiences, via a variety of modalities and technologies, for our new hires
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, helping to make complex concepts more simple
  • Knowledgeable of leading-edge training strategies to impact skill attainment and create a positive, fun learner experience
  • Knowledgeable of industry leading trends in learning strategies to drive engagement and maximize impact
  • Lead a team of trainers who welcome and deliver live, in-person training
  • Collaborate successfully with colleagues across program success, recruiting, talent development, operations, and learning design
  • Demonstrate masterful operational skills to analyze capacity and define a predictable training calendar
  • Achieve high quality standards and customer satisfaction scores, impact sales results and drive a high performance sales culture

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • 5 years previous experience delivering innovative training programs with measurable business results as a Sales Training Specialist, Corporate Sales Trainer or a similar role
  • 3 years people management experience to lead, support and motivate the team
  • Office-Based:  Must live within 40 miles of Salesforce office and committed to be in the office a minimum of 4 days a week
  • A passion for learning, with energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator
  • Adept at resolving complex business issues
  • Takes initiative across all aspects of the role, proactively rises and resolves issues; consistently looks for ways to improve themselves and their peers. Demonstrates initiative and accountability
  • Ability to foster an inclusive work environment and can demonstrate cultural awareness, respect for values and seeks out different perspectives and experiences.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce roles, key programs and products is preferred

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $159,500 to $219,900.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $159,500 to $219,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
