About the Role
The BDR Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 6+ reps to cold prospect into our ICP. Your goal is to motivate your team and help them hit their activity and demo booking targets by showing prospects the value and impact Sterling provides. This is a fast-paced role that will require excellent client facing skills combined with an organized, energetic and positive approach.
Your Day to Day
- Prospecting Strategy – Develop and iterate on prospecting strategies for Sterling’s ICP and implement these with the team to drive increased demo bookings. This will be achieved through partnering with sales, marketing and other teams to iterate on current strategies and build new ones
- Coaching– Spending time coaching your reps on how to improve through call reviews and objection handling
- Reporting – Ensuring the right reports are in place and reviewing them daily, weekly and monthly to improve performance of the team
- Hiring / Training – Hire and train new BDRs to full ramp within 4 months of joining the company
What we’re looking for
- 2-5+ years previous experience in a BDR or equivalent role and preferably with people management experience
- An analytical mindset that has experience coming up with prospecting ideas
- Experience working out of CRM and automation tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, zoominfo, etc.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
