Role Overview

HDR is seeking a Business & Data Analyst to work at the intersection of Finance, Data, Government Compliance, and Technology. The role is a hybrid of compliance, finance, and analytics with emphasis on automation and data-driven insights, process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and government contracting compliance.

What You Will Do

Improve financial accuracy and efficiency by designing and implementing automated expense review processes. Contribute to leadership decision-making by enhancing financial forecasting models. Conduct monthly transactional reviews and assess compliance with applicable government regulations.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidate has a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Working knowledge of data analytics, process automation and/or reporting software
  • Problem-solving skills

  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to manage a fluctuating, high volume workload
