We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to work with our Engineering and Product Management teams on a broad range of products and initiatives. This role plays a pivotal role in using data to drive insights into Wind River’s development processes and identifying key areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Tableau for building interactive dashboards, drill-downs, KPI views, and automated reporting.
- Experience with other BI/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, QuickSight) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience extracting and transforming data from GitLab and Jira.
- Solid understanding of SQL for data modeling, transformations, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
- Ability to design and maintain data models, including star/snowflake schemas used for KPI reporting.
- Experience working with APIs (especially GitLab & Jira REST APIs) and handling JSON data structures.
- Comfortable working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) if applicable.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and common engineering KPIs.
- Ability to translate engineering workflows into quantitative dashboards that provide actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams.
- Skilled at gathering requirements, translating them into dashboard specifications, and iterating based on feedback.
- Ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
