The American Association for the Advancement of Science seeks a Digital Communications Manager to lead digital strategy, storytelling and content at the organizational level.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of digital communications experience as part of integrated campaigns
- Experience managing a website using the content management system Drupal
- Highly skilled in news writing and editing with the ability to generate accurate, in-depth copy
- Proficiency and comfort editing in AP style
- Basic multimedia editing skills using software such as Canva and Adobe products
- Knowledge of search engine optimization strategies and interest in how AI-powered search is transforming the digital landscape
- Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics a plus
