Adtalem Global Education is recruiting a performance driven Director of Marketing Technology to own marketing automation and technology strategy, functional execution, customer journey mapping, and the technology that supports these efforts. You will help develop and continuously expand the company’s offerings and capabilities in Marketing Automation and Personalization to create scalable and innovative cloud-based solutions. This role is responsible for the overall design and implementation of marketing automation and personalization systems and recommending best practice solutions to key business stakeholders.

We are seeking an individual with a passion for marketing automation and personalization; a forward-thinking technologist with a deep understanding of the intersection of technology systems and customer experience. This role will leverage technology and industry subject matter experience to provide comprehensive technology solutions to business challenges. The Director of MarTech will operate with precision and focus, but also make work fun; all while working collaboratively and giving our prospects, students and alumni a great experience. This role will thrive in leading others and sharing vision with peers and partners to build elegant technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and advance the maturity of our marketing automation capabilities
  • Build maintain and leverage a best-in-class marketing technology stack
  • Leverage data and technology for programmatic personalization at scale, using tools like machine learning, AI and behavioral data to improve customer relevancy
  • Evaluate and optimize programs based on ROI and performance analytics
  • Collaborate and lead cross-functionally with Marketing, IT and Business Intelligence to effectively design and configure scalable solutions to meet business needs
  • Provide data-driven intelligence into the operational efficiency of lead management processes, and own the resolution of identified issues collaborating across the various teams
  • Identify infrastructure and process improvements with the central teams in a timely manner, document requirements and then ensure the projects are prioritized on the central team roadmap and driven to resolution
  • Lead a team through transformation
    Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Track record of building best in class multi-channel lifecycle marketing programs to support acquisition and retention throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Forward-thinking technologist with a deep understanding of the intersection of technology systems and customer experience
  • A leader with proven experience inspiring and developing high performing teams
  • Adept at using data and testing to drive tangible business outcomes
  • Clear view of what best-in-class system and infrastructure looks like. Expertise with deep functional knowledge of Salesforce, and Marketing Automation Platforms required
  • Experience and subject matter expertise in marketing leading solutions such as Google Marketing Platform, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc
  • Experience in organizations that operate both self-serve and sales driven customer experiences
  • A strong communicator who can demonstrate influence at multiple levels of organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving business environment
