The Director/Manager Sales Operations role involves supporting due diligence, analyzing and optimizing sales and pricing structures post-acquisition, implementing measures for competitiveness and profitability, building efficient sales teams, and leading/motivating teams within portfolio companies. It requires a strong analytical background, consulting experience, and leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree in Business/Finance, Engineering, Technology, Science, or a related field
  • At least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience with a proven track record in optimizing pricing, marketing, and sales strategies to drive top-line growth
  • Several years of demonstrable experience in consulting
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in (big) data analysis
  • Confident use of common analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution skills and a hands-on mentality
  • Pragmatic, independent working style with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Leadership qualities and assertiveness
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • Willingness to travel four days per week to the respective portfolio company
