Description
The Director of Sales Operations will play a critical role in supporting and scaling our sales organization. This individual will oversee key operational functions including invoicing, product purchasing, financial analysis, reporting, performance tracking, and working closely with our finance and warehouse operational teams. The ideal candidate will bring a data-driven mindset, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience with NetSuite and dashboard creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to improve sales processes, efficiency, and productivity.
- Oversee and streamline invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Lead financial reporting efforts, including revenue forecasting, sales performance metrics, and operational costs.
- Design and implement dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Manage product purchasing, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Work with EVP of Strategic Partnerships to optimize vendor relationships, pricing, and rebate programs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Warehouse operations team to seamlessly integrate inventory management and order fulfillment in the sales process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and finance, to drive alignment and achieve company goals.
- Leverage NetSuite to optimize sales operations processes and ensure accurate data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing processes, product purchasing, and warehouse operations.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and data interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to create dashboards and track KPIs to drive performance.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/CRM systems is highly preferred.
- Experience with ConnectWise/CPQ or similar sales quoting tools is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.
