Airgas is hiring an Outside Sales Account Manager in Piscataway, NJ. The role involves building and sustaining high-value partnerships with business and industrial clients, nurturing existing accounts, and identifying new opportunities. The successful candidate will be a consultative partner, helping customers integrate Airgas’ full range of solutions to add significant value to their operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration
- Comfort and familiarity with computer applications, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- 3+ years of prior outside business-to-business sales experience, including experience in solution-selling concepts and a demonstrated history of nurturing customer relationships throughout a defined sales territory
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication, and presentation skills that utilize current technology
- Demonstrated experience using a consultative sales approach providing multiple layers of value to a customer to establish a mix of sales solutions and products
- Proactive and self-motivated; operates with a results-oriented focus; ability to work and thrive in an autonomous and team-oriented environment
