Partner with the best

You will partner closely with the SVP of Global Enterprise Security Sales, delivering forward-looking insights in a dynamic, global environment. Our culture of continuous improvement empowers you to influence outcomes and make a meaningful impact across the organization.

As Director of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing business insight into the sale of an expanding portfolio of Akamai products.
  • Facilitating the development and deployment of sales targets and quotas by region and industry segment.
  • Managing the development of the go-to-market organizational structure and associated sales leadership to maximize sales productivity.
  • Fostering continuous improvement by identifying and executing on opportunities cross functionally.
  • Maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Working with product and finance teams to translate business plans into executable sales productivity plans

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or another related field or its equivalent
  • Have an extensive background in Sales Operations and supporting Sales organizations as a business partner.
  • Be passionate about partnering closely with executive sales leadership teams.
  • Have the ability to affect organizational change in building scalable and repeatable processes.
  • Be experience working with excel, tableau and Salesforce.
  • Have demonstrated experience implementing best practices focused on delivering business results.
  • Be a collaborative leader with the ability to manage a team and communicate effectively

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only – the base salary for this position ranges from $136,500 – $283,500/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
