We are a cross-functional and collaborative group providing critical support to our NA sales teams. Partnering with top-notch sales executives and go-to-market leaders, we enable and enhance their execution and productivity. We facilitate strategic planning and development of our existing sales teams, focusing on growth and opportunity-capture across the organization.

You will be supporting teams of sales executives responsible for acquiring and growing customer accounts across multiple industry-focused sales teams. Partnering with sales leaders and their teams you will implement creative solutions for a variety of challenges. As a Manager of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Providing assessments and analytics in the development of sales territories and deployment of Account Executives
- Facilitating the development of the go-to-market organizational structure and associated sales hierarchy to maximize sales productivity
- Working with sales leaders, product and finance teams to translate business plans into executable sales productivity plans and deploy quotas to our selles.
- Partnering with sales and product leaders to develop an operational plan and deploy quotas to our sellers
- Coordinating forecasting, planning, budgeting, quoting and order processing processes used within the sales organization, maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy and consistency
- Partnering with Akamai’s Tools & Reporting teams to implement and leverage sales enabling platforms/ tools
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
- Have an extensive background in Sales Operations and supporting Sales organizations as a business partner
- Be passionate about partnering closely with senior sales leadership
- Have the ability to affect organizational change in building scalable and repeatable processes
- Have a proven track record successfully managing a team in an ever-changing, results-driven environment
- Have the ability to analyze large sets of data, extracting business insights and preparing executive level presentations including recommended actions
- Have demonstrated experience implementing best practices focused on delivering business results
- Have knowledge in the use of Salesforce.com or other CRM system

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only – the base salary for this position ranges from $92,900 – $193,100/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
