My client is a rapidly scaling FinTech company headquartered in New York, transforming financial services through cutting-edge technology, industry expertise, and a relentless focus on customer value. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking a visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to architect, lead, and execute a world-class commercial strategy across the entire revenue lifecycle.

This is a pivotal executive role for an ambitious leader excited to shape the future of a company poised for significant expansion.

Role Overview

As CRO, you will own the full revenue organisation—including Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, and Marketing—ensuring alignment, clarity, and accountability across all go-to-market functions. You will design scalable strategies, build high-performance teams, and drive predictable, sustainable revenue growth.

You will work directly with the CEO and executive team to define the company’s commercial vision and execute at pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, data-driven revenue organisation
  • Own the full revenue strategy across Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success
  • Define, forecast, and optimise the revenue model to support rapid scale
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to align GTM with roadmap and customer needs
  • Develop enterprise and mid-market sales strategies, including sector prioritisation and expansion plans
  • Drive operational excellence through processes, systems, and metrics that support predictable growth
  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships to accelerate distribution and market penetration
  • Represent the company externally at industry events, investor meetings, and strategic forums

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven track record as CRO, SVP/VP of Sales, or senior commercial leader in FinTech, SaaS, or financial services technology
  • Demonstrated success scaling revenue from early/scale-up stages to significant annual recurring revenue (ARR)
  • Expertise in building and leading multi-disciplinary revenue teams
  • Strong understanding of financial services markets, enterprise sales cycles, and regulatory considerations
  • Analytical, metrics-driven leader with experience building revenue dashboards and forecasting models
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence; comfortable engaging at C-suite and board level
  • Based on the East Coast of the United States, with flexibility to travel to New York HQ as required
