Manager of Revenue Accounting

Manager of Revenue Accounting position available for a global, publicly traded tech organization. The role involves leading the application and execution of revenue recognition under ASC 606 and providing strategic insight into revenue-related decisions.

Requirements

• Lead the application of ASC 606 across complex revenue streams
• Perform detailed contract reviews
• Analyze transaction price, variable consideration, and contract modifications
• Ensure consistent application of revenue policies across business units
• Prepare technical accounting memos
• Research and interpret U.S. GAAP guidance
• Support external audits and respond to technical accounting inquiries
• Partner closely with FP&A, deal desk, legal, and product teams
• Provide insight into revenue trends, deal structures, and financial impact
• Support forecasting and budgeting alignment with revenue recognition
• Maintain and enhance SOX-compliant revenue controls
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Support system enhancements impacting revenue accounting
