Senior Communications & Corporate Affairs Manager

As a Senior Communications & Corporate Affairs Manager, you will play a critical role in protecting and enhancing Allens’ reputation, shaping our narrative, and supporting firm leadership through periods of change, heightened scrutiny and complexity.

Requirements

  • Experience in professional services (legal sector experience highly regarded)
  • Significant senior-level experience in corporate affairs, communications, media relations or reputation management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a well-honed risk radar
  • A passion for brand building and an eye for opportunities to enhance brand value
  • Demonstrated experience advising senior leadership and executive stakeholders with confidence, discretion and sound judgement
  • Deep expertise in media relations and issues management, including leading external engagement in sensitive or high-risk scenarios
  • Proven experience managing communications for incident and rapid-response issues
  • Strong understanding of ESG and transparency reporting, with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape clear, credible and consistent messaging
