We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support the delivery of the Bank’s Introducer strategy by providing a high-quality, professional relationship management service to commercial finance brokers and prospective customers.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Evidence of proven career progression gained in business development via the commercial mortgage broker market and in commercial property lending
- Sound knowledge of the commercial finance Introducer market, commercial property lending and banking products associated with SME businesses
- Ability to work with Introducers and customers to structure new commercial mortgage lending proposals and write credit applications
- Proven track record in providing excellent customer service and in generating lending income opportunities whilst effectively managing credit risk
- Strong understanding of SME banking and lending across commercial asset classes
- Detailed knowledge of, and experience in analysing business fundamentals, financial accounts, and related information to understand the underlying cashflows of a business in detail, appreciating any sensitivities and reviewing financials against a broad range of key ratios
