AWS World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Enablement is seeking an experienced Sales Trainer & Facilitator to empower our sales teams and increase their overall go-to-market effectiveness by delivering impactful, business aligned training programs and workshops.

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to collaborate with the Worldwide Field Enablement team and own execution for North America and while engaging counterparts in EMEA, APJ and LATAM to increase scale of impact. We are seeking a top performer to deliver training in a compelling manner and increase seller confidence and capabilities when engaging Public Sector customers. Ideal candidates have a background in sales or business development with deep expertise in developing and facilitating sales training and programs.

In this role, you will build and deliver sales and skills training for internal sales and technical teams.

You will have an opportunity to combine a passion for teaching/coaching and enthusiasm for technology to drive learning and establish positive customer relationships with new and tenured sales and technical employees. You will also work closely with a variety of stakeholders including leaders, sellers, subject matter experts, trainers to identify and deliver against the training needs of the organization.

Key job responsibilities

  • Execute sales training and skills workshops for new and existing customer facing teams; Support specific new hire onboarding and everboarding (continuing education) training needs and drive content development.
  • Facilitate training using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, including virtual learning and classroom based to create an engaging learner experience.
  • Leverage feedback mechanisms to ensure training content is effective, impactful and demonstrating quantifiable business impact.
  • Provide guidance within the sales organization and share best practices
  • Remain informed of new and emerging training methods and techniques
  • Build and deliver ad hoc sales training/enablement initiatives in response to business needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and technology industry experience
  • 10+ years of proven sales training/facilitation, experience coaching/developing new and tenured sales professionals, with an emphasis on adult learning principles.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated implementation of multiple sales methodologies and programs
  • 7+ years of sales or business development experience with a history of success and overachieving quota
  • 5+ years of experience using an LMS (Cornerstone preferred), and virtual conferencing platform (WebEx, Adobe Connect, GoToWebinar, etc.)
  • 5+ years using the Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with cloud technology products and services
  • Ability to make decisions when all necessary information is not available
  • Flexible and understands how to get things done in an unstructured environment
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Capable of identifying needs or gaps in sales techniques and performance
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required with an overall positive and professional disposition; ability to work well within a matrix team environment
  • Able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, possess a high level of self-motivation, and have an excellent work ethic

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $215,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
