Sales Operations Analyst

Position Overview:

Ambient.ai is seeking a detail-oriented, analytically driven Sales Operations Analyst to help optimize and scale our go-to-market systems, processes, and insights. You’ll play a key role in improving sales efficiency, driving operational excellence, and enabling data-informed decision-making across our Revenue organization.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to improve how things work, and enjoys partnering cross-functionally to solve complex problems.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Optimize sales systems and processes: Customize Salesforce, implement automation, and improve internal tools to streamline the quote-to-order lifecycle
  • Enable data-driven decisions: Build reports, dashboards, and run analyses to support forecasting, performance reviews, pipeline health, and GTM strategy
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations to identify process gaps, improve data quality, and support pricing and deal structuring
  • Support strategic initiatives: Help drive annual planning, territory design, quota setting, and compensation operations as the team scales

The amazing skills you’ll bring to Ambient.ai:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or another quantitatively rigorous field
  • 2–4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or another analytically-focused role
  • Strong Excel (or Google Sheets) and PowerPoint skills; experience with Salesforce or BI tools is a plus
  • Curious, data-driven mindset with a passion for improving systems and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to help build and scale a high-performing tech company from the ground up

We take a market-based approach to pay here at Ambient.ai, and pay may vary depending on multiple factors. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, level, market conditions, and internal parity.

Base salary is just one component of our total rewards package. As a fast-growing start-up, our regular employees are also granted stock options, and an opportunity to succeed when Ambient.ai succeeds. As a young start-up with product market fit, our stock upside is substantial, and a large part of our total rewards strategy.

The pay scale below represents the starting base salary range we expect to pay for this position, and is subject to change*:

SF Bay Area: $90,000 – $115,000

*From time to time, we may decide to make an offer to a candidate that is either leveled below or above this role based on skills, experience, and interview performance.
