The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing a strategic customer portfolio of industrial packaging customers whilst developing new business opportunities for the Steinfeld plant.
Requirements
- Take full ownership of a strategic customer portfolio
- Maintain and further develop strong long-term relationships within the industrial packaging market
- Identify and develop new customers in existing and adjacent markets
- Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proactively identify opportunities for the development of standard or custom-made products and services
- Minimum of five years’ progressive and successful experience in sales or technical sales
- Proven track record in acquiring new customers and building, expanding, and maintaining long-term business relationships
- Strong sales mindset with high personal drive, resilience, and an entrepreneurial, solution-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills in both German and English
- Willingness to travel regularly within Western Germany and occasionally across Europe
- Strong ability and willingness to learn new products, technologies and applications
- Valid driving license (Category B)
- Confident and experienced user of digital sales tools and CRM systems
