Role Overview

Join AMP’s Wealth Data & Analytics team and play a key role in shaping how Superannuation, Retirement and Platform data is transformed into actionable insights, regulatory reporting and better customer outcomes.

What You Will Do

Deliver reliable, assured and timely data that supports better outcomes for AMP’s customers, members, investors and stakeholders. Support regulatory reporting and business intelligence that enables obligations to be effectively monitored and insights to be used in decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or Senior Data Analyst in a complex data environment.
• Experience in superannuation, investments or insurance environments is preferred.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments and contributing to data-related projects and delivery models.
• Proficiency with data profiling and reporting tools, data environments such as Amazon Redshift and data lake platforms, SQL, Power BI, Python and Airflow.
• Experience or familiarity with data governance and metadata tools such as Profisee, Talend Metadata Manager and data modelling tools such as Erwin
• Highly developed data literacy and a strong attention to detail, with a tenacious commitment to accuracy and full understanding.
• Advanced troubleshooting and data analysis capability, including extracting, profiling and reconciling data to assess structure, completeness and quality.
• Strong engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across business, technical and data communities.
• Business analysis skills to document existing processes and data flows, and to capture new requirements clearly.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage ambiguity, multiple tasks, conflicting deadlines and tight delivery timeframes
