Manager- Local Communications

Animals Asia is seeking a Manager- Local Communications to deliver Vietnam-facing communications through strategic messaging, Vietnamese-language content, and media engagement. The role involves developing and implementing local communications plans, advising on messaging and reputational risks, and building relationships with media and journalists. The Manager will lead the development of Vietnamese-language content, manage media relations, and support campaigns through messaging and content coordination. The role requires strong writing and editorial skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of Vietnam’s media landscape, regulatory environment, and digital communication channels.

Requirements

• Strong writing and editorial skills with attention to detail, able to translate complex information into clear content
• Good understanding of Vietnam’s media landscape, regulatory environment, and digital communication channels
• Solid experience in communications, media, or editorial roles, including digital content, social media management, and working with Vietnamese media
• Native Vietnamese and strong English (written and spoken)
• Degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
