In the pivotal role of Email Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing email campaigns that not only drive engagement and registrations but also illuminate the value of our offerings.

Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing product awareness, increasing feature adoption, and positioning Apollo.io as a thought leader in the industry. Your responsibilities will include the rigorous management of our email domain and IP infrastructure, the upkeep of a pristine user database, and a steadfast focus on optimizing key performance metrics essential for our expansion. Collaboration is at the heart of this role; you will work in tandem with the Growth, Product, and Content teams, providing insights that shape our strategies. Reporting directly to the Head of Lifecycle and Marketing Automation, your insights and achievements in email marketing will play a critical role in our overall strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Email Campaign Development: Create and execute email campaigns for webinars, events, product updates, and thought leadership, ensuring each is tailored to drive specific goals such as engagement or registrations.
  • Lead Nurture Programs: Develop targeted email nurture streams for non-users and prospects, focusing on driving new user sign-ups and demo requests.
  • Content Collaboration: Craft compelling email content that accurately communicates product value and industry insights.
  • Email Optimization and Testing: Utilize A/B testing and analytics to optimize email performance, focusing on improving open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Database Management: Oversee the health of the email database, implementing strategies to clean and update contact lists regularly.

About You

  • 5+ years in demand generation ideally in a PLG B2B SaaS company
  • Content Creation & Storytelling: Exceptional ability in crafting engaging email content that captures the audience’s attention and encourages action.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to interpret email campaign data and adjust strategies accordingly to improve performance.
  • Technical Proficiency in Email Marketing Tools: Skilled in using email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot) to segment audiences, automate campaigns, and track performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with various teams to gather input and align email marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Adaptability to Market Trends: Staying informed of the latest trends in email marketing and adapting strategies to maintain the effectiveness of email campaigns.
