Applied Materials is seeking an experienced supply chain professional for this individual contributor role. This role is at our Santa Clara, CA office and is not remote or hybrid. The successful candidate will develop, align and implement commodity strategies, negotiate and manage agreements with suppliers, and drive resolution to systemic supply chain issues.
Requirements
- Develops, aligns and implements commodity strategies
- Negotiates and manages the maintenance of agreements with suppliers
- Engages with the PLC process to ensure alignment with the commodity strategies
- Directs new supplier introduction and/or disengagement requirements to/from the Applied Materials supply base
- Drives resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time
- Develops and presents high level cost reduction opportunities
