As the Field Marketing Manager for the UK & Ireland (UK&I) region, you will be responsible for planning and executing the UK&I marketing plan, with a strong emphasis on both physical and virtual events.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing – EMEA & APJ, your role will involve developing and implementing marketing programs that generate high-quality pipeline, accelerate the sales cycle, and exceed revenue goals.

Ideal Candidate:

We seek a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills, as well as a strategic mindset. As a results-driven professional, you thrive on delivering marketing programs and events that generate real leads and opportunities. You understand the importance of conducting pre, during, and post-event campaigns, and you excel at targeting accounts and attracting the right attendees. Account mapping and digital prospect targeting are second nature to you, and you enjoy collaborating with the sales team and building strong relationships. Networking comes naturally to you.

  • Collaborate closely with the Armis UK&I sales team to develop quarterly UK&I Field Marketing plans that align with regional pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Design and execute integrated, multi-channel demand generation programs, incorporating events, organic and paid media, email marketing, and direct mail.
  • Develop and implement an overall events strategy, including webinars and in-person/virtual experiences (third-party, partner, and Armis-hosted), aligned with Armis’s marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Coordinate and oversee end-to-end event logistics, such as venue selection, contract negotiations, budgeting, vendor management, booth design, and on-site execution.
  • Manage event communications, including pre, during, and post-event marketing campaigns, to drive attendee engagement and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Create and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs to penetrate key accounts in the region.
  • Utilize corporate and product messaging, tailoring content to your events and programs in a way that demonstrates an understanding of our key initiatives and value propositions, resonating with our target buyers.
  • Forecast and measure the impact of marketing programs and events, including lead generation, pipeline generation/acceleration, and closed won ROI. Provide key insights and recommendations for optimizations and future marketing strategies.
  • Foster strong collaboration and serve as the go-to marketing resource for regional sales leaders, sales reps, business development representatives (BDRs), and regional partners. Building strong relationships is paramount.

The following is not exhaustive; we are flexible for the right person; past-experience is key, however:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software/technology field marketing.
  • Experience managing marketing programs targeting technical and executive audiences (CIOs, CISOs, DevOps, Security Architects, etc.).
  • Demonstrated event management and trade show execution experience, preferably in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong knowledge of demand generation strategies and tactics, including account segmentation, content personalization, and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing a marketing budget and delivering results within allocated resources.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with clarity, conciseness, and affability. You collaborate effectively across teams and garner respect and likability.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously, communicating effectively with remote management for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment where agility and pivoting are a part of the journey.
  • Ability to travel across the UK&I/EMEA region as needed.
  • Knowledge of the UK&I cybersecurity market, including key industry events, conferences, and trade shows, is a strong advantage.
