How You’ll Add Value
As a Sales Operations Associate, you will support the Sales Operations Team and work closely with the sales organization to ensure smooth and efficient processes. You will manage multiple tasks effectively, communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to marketing and sales initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a communication link between sales representatives, management, leadership teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, and Marketing to drive targeted prospecting and lead generation.
- Manage and maintain customer lead data in Salesforce (SFDC) and handle daily pricing requests.
- Coordinate and complete RFPs, including information gathering, creation, and submission.
- Prepare sales presentations and maintain reporting tools such as spreadsheets and graphs.
- Analyze potential and existing clients and maintain proposal content and Q&A databases.
- Ensure proposal databases are current and optimized for efficiency through regular reviews with SMEs and internal teams.
- Provide sales teams with accurate proposal information as needed.
- Maintain sales pipeline and forecast data.
- Oversee client databases, including contract management, confidentiality agreements, and project definitions.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by managing multiple client projects.
- Organize weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales meetings.
- Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements for sales workflows, marketing campaigns, and customer service.
- Ensure proposals meet quality standards and are completed on time.
What You Will Bring
- Degree in Life Sciences with experience in genomics research or clinical laboratory work.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or Communication is a plus.
- Professional experience in the Life Sciences industry.
- Several years of customer service or sales experience.
- Experience working in multicultural and global environments.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ACT, Goldmine).
- Strong collaboration skills with sales teams and cross-functional departments.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and manage client needs.
- Fluent in English and German (mandatory).
