Head of Demand Generation

The Head of Demand Generation is responsible for building a robust pipeline and generating inbound leads. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience deploying best-in-class technology to execute multi-channel campaigns, build reports to measure success and ultimately extract campaign insights for continued optimization. This position will report to the VP of Sales and work closely with the sales team to generate opportunities across the Global 2000. This position will be crucial to the success of Base Operations as we continue to expand our market reach and fuel our high-growth sales organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a demand generation program and develop a roadmap that will help Base Operations reach its growth targets
  • Build and execute short- and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads and build sales pipeline
  • Analyze campaign results, implement optimizations, and identify incremental campaign opportunities
  • Drive the development of new contacts through to their conversion to qualified leads via a metrics-driven approach
  • Plan, launch and manage the execution of integrated demand gen campaigns that incorporate email, online advertising, social media, webinars, events, and other mediums as appropriate
  • Measure and improve conversion rates throughout the early stages of the buyer’s journey
  • Launch account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting key accounts and personas
  • Work across the top, middle, and bottom of the funnel for end-to-end lead nurturing
  • Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ Years of proven experience in a marketing demand generation role at a B2B SaaS Company
  • 2+ years running multi-touch ABM plays
  • Strong copywriting skills for email, ads, and social
  • Working background and understanding of an Enterprise SaaS sales organization
  • Ability to harness differentiated creative and customized value propositions for target personas
  • The vision to convey a unique and compelling story for Base Operations
  • Flexibility to try various approaches and an analytical mindset to evaluate results and improve them
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skills
