The New Business Development team creates growth opportunities for Catalysts & Adsorbents through unlocking growth prospects in emerging markets and discovering core market needs. As a Manager, New Business Development, you will be responsible for driving and expanding new business in Greater China and the Asia region overall.
Requirements
- Steer partnerships and collaboration programs with process engineering and licensing companies to standardize BASF catalysts and adsorbents offerings for newly designed processes.
- Provide technical and commercial support for new business development across core markets in Greater China, but also in Asia overall.
- Manage market development in Greater China for syngas, sustainable methanol and SAF catalysts.
- Explore opportunities and acquire customers in growth markets through close collaboration, establishing partnerships and performing full solution setup.
- Offer design and simulation support for catalysts and adsorbents to enable technical proposal offerings.
- Lead commercialization of new catalysts and adsorbent technologies in Greater China and Asia overall.
- Develop market entry strategies for existing as well as new catalyst segments by uncovering core market needs.
- Coordinate production and extended manufacturing programs for new business catalysts and adsorbents in Asia.
