Position Overview: This is a contract role to start, with a transition to full-time employment upon successful completion of the first 90 days.​

We’re looking for a Go-to-Market Engineer with hands-on experience in B2B sales or agency environments who can manage, execute, and optimize outbound sales campaigns. The ideal candidate will be familiar with modern sales tools, outreach platforms, and comfortable interacting directly with clients.​

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution: Develop, launch, and manage outbound email campaigns utilizing our current tech stack, including Apollo, Lead Magic, Clay, SmartLead, Pipl.ai, EmailBison, and Panda Match.​

  • Implement A/B testing methodologies to optimize subject lines, email content, and call-to-action strategies.​

Tool Management: Ensure smooth integration and functionality of our current sales engagement tools, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize campaign performance.​

  • Proactively research and implement emerging sales engagement tools to maintain a competitive edge.​

Data Analysis & Optimization: Regularly review campaign performance metrics, analyze results, and recommend improvements.​

  • Create detailed performance reports and dashboards to facilitate transparent communication with clients and internal teams.​

Client Communication: Act as a client-facing consultant, gathering requirements, managing expectations, and clearly communicating progress and outcomes.​

  • Educate clients on best practices in outbound sales strategies, fostering a collaborative and informed partnership.​

Process Automation: Identify opportunities for automating repetitive sales tasks to improve team productivity and campaign effectiveness.​

  • Develop custom automation scripts or workflows to address unique campaign challenges, enhancing overall efficiency.​

Qualifications:

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, sales development roles, or agency-side campaign management.​

  • Proven track record in managing successful outbound sales campaigns, demonstrating tangible results.​

Technical Comfort: Familiarity with popular sales engagement tools such as Apollo, HubSpot, SalesLoft, Outreach, and cold email platforms like SmartLead, Instantly, and Clay.​

  • Experience with data enrichment tools and CRM systems to ensure comprehensive data management capabilities.​

Basic Technical Knowledge: Passing familiarity with JavaScript or Python and an understanding of DNS records is helpful, but deep technical expertise is not required.​

  • Familiarity with API integrations and basic scripting can be advantageous for customizing tools and workflows.​

Client-Facing Skills: Proven experience interacting with clients, managing expectations, and clearly communicating technical concepts in simple terms.​

  • Ability to conduct training sessions or workshops for clients, enhancing their understanding and engagement with the campaigns.​

Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret campaign metrics, generate insights, and implement data-driven improvements.​

  • Proficiency in using analytics platforms to track and interpret user engagement and campaign effectiveness.​

Problem-Solver: Self-driven attitude to proactively identify issues and propose solutions.​

  • Demonstrated innovative solutions to complex campaign challenges in previous roles.​

Preferred Background:

Experience running your own agency or freelance business is a strong plus, particularly if you’re looking to apply your skills without the pressure of client acquisition.​

  • Experience in remote work environments, showcasing the ability to self-manage and collaborate effectively across different time zones.​
  • Background in mentoring or coaching junior team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development.​
