Job Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your mission is to build and qualify our pipeline of potential clients by identifying, researching, and initiating conversations with real estate investment firms and private equity sponsors. You’ll work closely with our Account Executives to create a steady flow of qualified opportunities that drive our company’s growth.
Your biggest priorities are:
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting activities
- Build initial relationships with potential clients in the investment sector
- Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for Account Executives
Role Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients within target markets
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns via email, phone, and social media
- Qualify prospects based on our ideal customer profile and business needs
- Schedule discovery calls and demos with Account Executives
- Accurately document all prospect information and activities in our CRM
- Meet or exceed monthly quota for qualified meetings and opportunities
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and best prospecting practices
- Provide feedback to marketing and sales teams on prospect conversations
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Conduct research on prospects and their companies
- Craft personalized outreach messages to potential clients
- Make 40-60 outbound calls per day to potential clients
- Send 30-40 personalized emails per day
- Engage with prospects through LinkedIn and other social platforms
- Qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline
- Record detailed notes and next steps in CRM system
- Collaborate with Account Executives on lead handoffs
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or similar role
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Resilient and positive attitude with ability to handle rejection
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently toward quotas
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales technology
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Bonus Experience:
- Understanding of commercial real estate or financial services
- Experience with outbound prospecting techniques
- Familiarity with investment marketing concepts
- Track record of exceeding goals in previous roles
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms
