We are actively seeking a Channel Operations Lead to support the Channel Sales organization in designing, executing, and measuring its go-to-market strategy. This is a highly visible role that requires partnership with Channel VPs as well as close collaboration with RevOps, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, Systems and other Operations teams. This role requires you to utilize a broad range of skills on a daily basis including, but not limited to, process improvement, data analysis, and project management. You will be expected to act as a strategic partner to Sales leadership and provide top notch support to our Sales representatives. Communication skills must be impeccable.
You are able to think strategically to develop the definition, measurement, and analysis of metrics, KPIs, and key business processes to support the ongoing growth of the Channel organization. You are comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to build processes and initiatives from scratch. You take a structured approach to solving complex problems and clearly and concisely communicate results or recommendations with supporting data. Finally, you have strong business partnership skills, demonstrated by the ability to communicate and influence across all levels and functions of the organization.
The position can be located anywhere in the continental United States with a preference for the San Francisco Bay Area or Salt Lake City area.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategy & Analysis
- Develop ongoing sales health metrics, reporting analytics and dashboards in Salesforce. Analyze the health of the business and interpret key performance indicators and performance metrics.
- Assist in sales capacity management and quota setting process
- Analyze sales data to provide answers to business questions and recommendations for potential solutions
- Perform analysis to identify gaps and maximize Channel team productivity and efficiency
- Partner with leadership to define and execute Channel strategy, policies, processes, and business system requirements
Process
- Partner closely with the Channel Sales to gather requirements for projects, troubleshoot issues, develop better processes, and bring information back to the rest of the operations team to implement solutions.
- Proactively identify operational improvements and enhancements to drive increased data quality.
- Strong ability to prioritize projects to determine what is most impactful for the business
- Drive operational efficiency and productivity with continuous tools and process improvements.
Support
- Responsible for building/editing SFDC reports and dashboards for ad hoc requests
- Provide daily support to field sales for process or tool stack related issues
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface
- Partner with Sales Enablement to develop training to help peers, partners and users become more effective in their use of the tools
We’d love to chat if you have:
- 3+ years of Sales Operations, or similar experience
- Salesforce proficiency: dashboards & reports, sales process design & best practices
- Analytical skills (comfort with MS excel and/or Google Sheets)
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Project management and presentation skills
- Problem solver and able to operate independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and an ability to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor degree in business, economics, or other quantitative disciplines
