Senior Financial Analyst

The Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team, you will be responsible for supporting the various business functions, including forecasting and budgeting of expenses, month-end close activities, collaborating with the accounting team on financial statement entries, and variance analysis. This role reports to the VP FP&A with visibility to senior leaders across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Support financial planning and tracking of operating expenses, headcount reporting, supporting the monthly close, and annual budgeting process
  • Update and enhance Budget vs. Actual monthly reports and other relevant analyses to functional leaders
  • Partner with the Accounting team on monthly close process by providing guidance on expense classification and accruals across departments
  • Build financial models that provide actionable insights to support decision-making and execution of business strategy
  • Ensure all relevant expense controls, procedures and policies are communicated and enforced
  • Support preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors and executive leadership team
  • Assist with design and implementation of FP&A planning tool
  • Perform various ad hoc analysis for Finance and leadership

Who You Are

  • 2-3 years of FP&A experience, with a track record of supporting financial forecasts, preferably in the tech industry/SaaS
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills, including a solid understanding of the three financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow)
  • Expertise in Excel/Google sheets
  • Budgeting and planning software experience a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, a sense of personal accountability, and a positive can-do attitude

The annual cash compensation range for this position is below.  Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed.

Pay Range

$71,000—$106,000 USD
