Bloomberg Product Oversight – Data Scientist

Bloomberg is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Product Oversight team in New York. The successful candidate will apply data analysis expertise to complex operational problems, design end-to-end machine learning models, and collaborate with business colleagues to drive change and improve services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data science/machine learning experience
• Strong foundational programming skills with deep expertise in Python and SQL
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and optimized code for data processing, analysis and model deployment
• Hands-on experience in building end-to-end machine learning models with post-deployment best practices
• Ability to assimilate, decipher, and present data analysis from a client impact perspective
• Ability to run multiple projects at a time and shift priorities quickly
• Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting, and ability to trace root causes
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
