Director, FP&A (Commercial Finance)

BlueCat is seeking a Director, FP&A to lead the FP&A function and drive the company’s growth and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record of effectively managing planning activities within a mid-size to large complex B2B Technology organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance and leadership experience within B2B technology/software companies, ideally with recurring revenue models and Private Equity (PE) ownership
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize insights into a clear, strategic narrative
• Strong business acumen, including a solid understanding of sales strategy and operations
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and scale finance capabilities within a growing organization
• Deep expertise in topline KPIs, including ARR and related SaaS metrics
• Proven track record designing and managing complex commission plans in B2B tech environments
• Ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration required, MBA or equivalent preferred
• Experience in US GAAP / ASC606 revenue recognition is an asset
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, engaged teams
• Strong technical and financial modeling capabilities
• Experience with Pigment or similar FP&A tools (e.g. Adaptive), Salesforce required
