Senior Account Manager Cybersecurity Content Marketing

On Site Full TimeLondon, United KingdomBora

The Company

Bora is a cybersecurity marketing agency. We only work with cybersecurity companies. We only do cybersecurity marketing.

We work as an extension to our client’s marketing teams, helping them improve their strategies and plans. We build on their success, but with less stress.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team. You’ll need previous experience managing client accounts and working within the B2B cybersecurity SaaS environment.

You will create and deliver client marketing campaigns, nurture and expand accounts, and develop your team. This is a senior role, with the potential to lead a department should things go well.

Our clients are based worldwide, so we offer a truly flexible working arrangement. We work effectively to meet client needs, and we ensure your happiness and well-being is top of mind.

If you want to go cycling in the morning, you can. And if a client needs to hop on a call at 8pm, you’ll be there.

You must be hyper organised, comfortable multi-tasking, and proactive in driving growth. You’ll display initiative and lead teams empathetically, ensuring we become indispensable to our clients.

You’ll work with Bora Project Managers to deliver work. This will include overseeing the writing of briefs, managing the work schedule, quality control, and more.

Your success will be measured by how much you’re able to expand client accounts year-on-year.

Responsibilities

  • Create, build, and maintain client relationships.
  • Work with project teams to deliver high quality work on time.
  • Work to uncover client needs and objectives, helping create suitable marketing programs, ultimately expanding our services and client base.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes, adapting client plans accordingly.
  • Clearly communicate the client’s objectives and needs with colleagues.
  • Provide strategic guidance to help shape the client’s business.
  • Drive overall business revenue via monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

The Skillset

  • Organised af: You will come to meetings prepared with a plan and a timeline. You understand planning ahead will set you, your team, and your clients up for success. You’re the type of person who organises their email inbox with colours and labels and a sorting system!
  • Creative problem solver: Our clients come to us with problems. You will offer creative solutions to those problems. Sometimes, they can be obvious and logical. They might also need additional creative input. No matter how the results are achieved, helping solve those problems is essential.
  • Listen to hear: You listen to hear and to understand. We want to know what our team and our clients are feeling. Ask lots of questions. Ask the right questions. Engage in discussions to uncover pains, situations, budgets, client structure, and critical events.
  • Empathetic leader: Your team will rely on you for positive guidance and direction. You’ll communicate in a way that empowers them to do their job to the best of their ability. Ensuring morale within the team is high. You’ll need empathy by the bucket-load.
  • Attention to detail: You notice things before our clients do. You notice industry trends, emerging threats and opportunities, and opportunities to improve. You’re on top of the latest developments, ideally engrossed in the top security publications daily. You join the dots our clients don’t, bringing new ideas to their tables.

Essential Experience

We need someone who can work self-sufficiently from day one. If you’ve not had 3-5 years of experience doing some of the below, you should not apply.

We need someone who can communicate cleanly and clearly. Someone who is direct, whilst being cordial, human, and delightful.

No superfluous business fluff. No one checking your work. You own your words.
