Director of Data Analytics & Modeling

We are seeking a highly skilled and technical Director of Data Analytics & Modeling to lead in our efforts to advance our data analytics and product platform.

This role is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade data models, driving advanced analytics initiatives, and architecting scalable data solutions that enable AI and machine learning readiness.

You will work closely with executives, analysts, and engineers to ensure data is structured, accessible, and actionable across the business.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on expertise in data modeling, analytics frameworks, and business acumen with the ability to influence decisions and guide technical direction.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain enterprise-wide data models that align with business processes and reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain semantic layers, dimensional models, and metadata structures for BI and AI enablement.
  • Lead complex analytics initiatives including forecasting, customer segmentation, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to prototype and validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Design and develop analytics assets such as dashboards, datasets, and model-ready data sets using tools like SQL, Python, and Power BI platforms.
  • Partner with data engineering to shape the design of data pipelines and warehouse models that support analytical and operational use cases.
  • Provide guidance on data governance, data quality, lineage, and compliance frameworks.
  • Advise business stakeholders on leveraging data assets effectively for strategic and operational outcomes.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and methodologies in data modeling and AI/ML.
  • Recommend improvements to analytics tooling, architecture, and workflows for greater efficiency and scalability.
  • Serve as a technical voice in cross-functional planning, architecture reviews, and data strategy discussions.
