Buckland is looking for a Business Intelligence Report Developer to design, develop, and deliver reports and dashboards to support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. The role will involve working closely with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and stakeholders to transform data into meaningful visualizations and insights, leveraging SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.

Requirements

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI
  • Interpret business requirements and translate them into technical reporting specifications
  • Optimize SQL queries and data sources to ensure high-performing reports and dashboards
  • Partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify reporting needs and provide data-driven insights
  • Maintain and improve existing reports and reporting frameworks, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Develop documentation for data models, report logic, and technical specifications
  • Conduct unit testing and peer reviews for report quality assurance
  • Support data validation and reconciliation efforts
  • Stay current with BI tools, techniques, and best practices
