Customer Success Manager role involves working with customer development and support, ensuring a fantastic experience for customers, and helping them grow with the company. The role requires accuracy, patience, diplomacy, advisory skills, and technical understanding.
Requirements
- Accuracy: Do the right thing from the start and double-check that it is correct.
- Patience: If it doesn’t work the first time, it probably will work the second time, and if it doesn’t, you should find a way to solve it on the third attempt.
- Diplomacy: You need to be able to communicate with ALL sorts of people in a very different way, with a focus on getting the task done and ideally making everyone feel like they understand.
- Advisor: You need to be able to understand the business as a whole and guide the customer to the right choice through the customer journey.
- Technical understanding: In order for things to work, you need to understand how they work under the hood and therefore be able to troubleshoot and repair when the outcome is not as expected.
