BWXT Canada Ltd. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to complete day-to-day operations within the financial reporting group, ensuring tasks are completed to meet corporate financial reporting timeframes in accordance with established internal controls and company policies. The role will work closely with other business units to ensure accurate and timely reporting and the incumbent will work closely with capital projects and financial instruments.
Requirements
- University degree in business with an accounting major
- Minimum of 4 years of Accounting experience
- CPA designation
- Strong computer skills including in-depth knowledge of MS Excel
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and the ability to work overtime, as needed
- Excellent organization and communications skills
- Familiarity with SAP/S4 Hana is an asset
- Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
