Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst who will bring a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls and possess a passion for process optimization & automations. You will report to the Head of IT and will be responsible for working closely alongside the FinOps department and technical resources to support the design, testing, and deployment of system improvements, as well as lead the day-to-day administration of the FinOps tech stack.
A day in the life of a Finance Systems Analyst at Calendly
Using your deep understanding of financial systems and a track record of crafting creative, high-quality solutions, you will proactively partner across the company to ensure FinOps systems operate effectively. You will serve as a bridge between our functional and technical business partners.
On a typical day, you will be working on:
- Support the technical configuration, development, maintenance, and day-to-day administration of third-party applications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, translating their business needs into systems-leveraged solutions
- Help create detailed flowcharts, process documentation, and end-user training materials
- Participate in the optimization of processes to improve efficiencies and reduce manual effort
- Maintain reliable change management practices and documentation
- Monitor integrations to identify and resolve sync issues, either independently or in partnership with third-party support teams
- Own with the implementation of new applications that we elect to bring into our Finance tech stack
What do we need from you?
- 3+ years of experience providing technical support to Finance teams with an understanding of accounting concepts, GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
- 2+ years of experience owning the administration and optimization of NetSuite (end-to-end implementation experience is a plus!)
- Previous experience re-engineering the Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report core business processes in the SaaS space
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Workday Adaptive Planning, Chargebee, Zip, Avalara, Workato, or Navan highly preferred
- Accounting or Finance background
- 1+ years of experience interacting with JSON/XML data structures, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs (Preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in a project management role supporting waterfall and agile methodologies (Preferred)
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Base Pay Range National – Salary
- $86,700—$117,300 USD
Base Pay Range California – Salary
- $106,250—$143,750 USD
