Senior Databricks Analytics Engineer (Contract) – Remote CET

We are supporting a consulting-driven data project for a global end client in the retail/CPG space. The assignment focuses on building a modern Databricks-based analytics and self-service BI environment, with strong emphasis on governance, usability, and business enablement.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (SQL, data modeling)
• Proven experience with Unity Catalog or similar governance tools
• Experience designing semantic layers (e.g., dbt or equivalent)
• Background in BI / analytics engineering
• Experience with data security concepts (RLS, RBAC)
