Hearst Television is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. The Senior Financial Analyst will deliver actionable insights through high-quality financial reporting, robust financial models, and executive-level presentations, while continuously improving financial processes, tools, and reporting capabilities to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Month-end financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis, including multi-entity P&L consolidation, system reconciliations, data management, variance analysis, and management commentary
  • Leverage financial systems, reporting tools, and emerging technologies to improve forecasting, reporting efficiency, and decision support
  • Develop and maintain executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations that highlight performance, trends, and key business drivers
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts, quarterly leadership reviews, the annual budget, and the 5-year long-range plan
  • Lead ad hoc financial and operational analyses to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Use Generative AI to improve forecasting, reporting efficiency, and decision support
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance data quality, and improve the scalability of FP&A deliverables
  • Support M&A and other strategic initiatives, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction support
