As a Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by providing technical expertise and support to our sales team. You will collaborate closely with our sales representatives and engage directly with potential customers to understand their needs, demonstrate the value of our solutions, and help them make informed purchase decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your technical skills, communication abilities, and business acumen to contribute to our company’s success.

Requirements

As a Pre-Sales Engineer get ready to jump into an exciting role where you will:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, highlighting key features and benefits to showcase the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Provide technical consultation to potential customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, including solution architecture, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
  • Assist in proof-of-concept (POC) projects, working closely with customers to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to provide customer feedback and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
  • Support post-sales activities, ensuring a smooth transition from the sales process to the implementation phase.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

  • Experience as a Presales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Network Engineer, Systems Engineer or Security Analyst.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Wide Area Networks, Local Area Networks, Azure Cloud, VMware, Cyber Security or the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
