About Channel Talk

Channel Talk is an all-in-one AI messenger platform for customer support, sales, and customer operations. We’ve built a strong business across Korea and Japan by helping startups and SMBs create faster, more personal, and more efficient customer experiences across chat, support, and sales. Our global expansion has already begun, and we’re now making a deeper push into the U.S. market, starting with fast-growing AI-native startups in San Francisco. AI startups are changing how companies support customers, sell, and operate. Many serve global customers with small teams, move quickly, and need AI-native ways to run customer operations from day one. We believe Channel Talk can become a core operating system for these teams.

About The Role

Channel Talk is looking for a founding GTM member in San Francisco to lead the development of our early U.S. go-to-market motion. This is not a role where you inherit a playbook. You’ll be on the ground with founders and operators, discovering where Channel Talk can create the most value, expanding our U.S. customer relationships, and turning promising conversations into design partners and customers. What you learn in the market will directly shape our product direction, positioning, and GTM strategy for the next stage of our U.S. expansion. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to combine relationship building, market discovery, and high-velocity execution in one of the most competitive software markets in the world.

In this role, you will

  • Map and prioritize high-potential customer segments across the San Francisco AI startup ecosystem
  • Build relationships with founders, operators, and startup communities through events, introductions, coffee chats, and thoughtful outreach
  • Turn market conversations into demos, pilots, design partners, customers, references, or clear market learnings
  • Test messaging, use cases, and customer segments to understand where Channel Talk resonates most
  • Build Channel Talk’s presence in the early-stage startup ecosystem through community activities, founder gatherings, and customer introductions
  • Bring market feedback into product, positioning, and GTM strategy
  • Create the foundation for a repeatable U.S. go-to-market motion

Your background looks something like this

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with strong interest in spending time in the market and meeting founders, operators, and startup communities in person
  • Experience in startups, sales, business development, community building, VC, accelerators, founder’s office, or another high-velocity environment
  • Strong relationship-building instincts and comfort starting conversations with new people
  • High ownership, fast follow-through, and comfort operating without a clear playbook
  • Strong communication skills in English, especially with founders and operators
  • Curiosity about AI, B2B SaaS, customer support, and customer operations
  • Ability to listen closely to customers, understand the real problem behind what they say, and translate those insights into action

Even better if you have

  • Familiarity with early-stage startups or the AI startup ecosystem in San Francisco
  • Experience turning cold outreach or warm introductions into meetings, customers, partnerships, or community relationships
  • Experience planning or hosting small events, founder gatherings, or community activities
  • Genuine interest in B2B SaaS or AI products, ideally as an active user
  • Experience working in a global or cross-cultural environment
