The Inside Sales Representative supports Outside Sales Representatives and assists phone and walk-in customers to build trust, confidence, and lasting business relationships.
Requirements
- Process customer orders in the system and coordinate with dispatch for truck deliveries.
- Manage rail delivery orders, coordinate with loading supervisors, and liaise with railroad services for deliveries.
- Assist contract truck drivers with order pick-ups by generating loading tickets.
- Provide support to phone and walk-in customers by answering product inquiries, processing orders, and issuing loading tickets or payment receipts.
- Verify brick availability through inventory systems and communicate with loading yard supervisors for accuracy.
- Notify customers when orders are ready and coordinate delivery logistics by truck or rail.
- Compile data, prepare reports, and handle routine correspondence.
