About the Role:

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is pivotal in our organization’s growth, overseeing all revenue functions, developing strategies, and ensuring financial success. Reporting to the CEO, the CRO leads revenue strategy, builds high-performing teams, and collaborates with stakeholders.

The role is primarily remote with 30% global travel, requiring an agile and collaborative mindset to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base.

Dutiesand Responsibilities:

  • Build an exceptional ‘A’ team consisting of Marketing and Sales teams
  • Build strong marketing and sales channels and pipeline for Managed Identity solutions
  • Effectively promote and sell solutions to Fortune 1000 and enterprise-level clients, nurturing a clientele with annual revenues in the multi-million-dollar range
  • Foster strong partnerships with customers, leading to increased loyalty, Net Promoter Score (NPS), Average Revenue Per Customer (ARPC), and Net Revenue Retention ($NRR)
  • Own annual revenues, revenue plan, strategy, and team
  • Revenue Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy aligned with the company’s goals and market dynamics
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and inspire the sales, marketing, and solutions teams to achieve revenue targets and exceed customer expectations
  • Customer Focus: Foster a customer-centric approach, understanding client needs, and ensuring that our solutions and services align with customer requirements
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies to guide business decisions and strategies
  • Financial Oversight: Manage and optimize the financial aspects of revenue generation, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Ensure a healthy and robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Team Development: Build and nurture high-performing teams across various revenue functions, including sales, marketing, and solutions
  • Sales Channels: Manage and grow sales channels including direct, resellers, SIs and ISVs, to expand market reach and drive revenue growth
  • Sales Enablement: Implement effective sales enablement strategies, tools, and training programs to enhance the capabilities of the sales team
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and report on revenue performance regularly
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional service and solutions
  • Revenue Optimization: Identify opportunities for revenue optimization, including upselling, cross-selling, and new market penetration
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with revenue generation activities
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all revenue-related activities

Qualifications:

  • Over 15 years of executive-level leadership expertise in the fields of system integration and managed services, specializing in cybersecurity and cloud platforms
  • Must have previous work experience as a Chief Revenue Officer or in a similar role
  • Must have ability to create and execute a business strategy, expertise in growing revenue teams, encompassing marketing, sales, and solutions, to achieve an annual run rate exceeding $100+ million
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through new solutions, marketing, branding, and partnerships
  • Must have demonstrated experience in developing and executing business strategies
  • Significant experience in general management and P&L
  • Possess strong business acumen, outstanding leadership abilities, innovative thinking, financial expertise, and a metrics-driven approach
  • Mastery of assembling high-performing teams for consulting, implementation, and managed services
  • Mastery of forming sales channels to unlock greater opportunities within partner ecosystems
  • Expertise in demand generation and account-based marketing strategy and optimization
  • Experience with Global Systems Integrator or Managed Services Provider
  • Experience with Cybersecurity, SaaS and PaaS ecosystems
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on employee development
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
  • Experience in managing strategic partnerships and alliances
