Financial Analyst

The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development is seeking a Financial Analyst to perform duties such as preparing and maintaining spending plans, providing technical assistance with funding and budgeting, and reviewing programmatic and administrative spending. The Financial Analyst will also prepare and present analytical reports on budgetary issues, monitor portfolio operations, and analyze variances and discrepancies.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
• Two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described
• High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described
• One year of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related field
