The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development seeks a Project Manager of Finance Operations & Analytics to direct and guide major research and analytical activities, develop and evaluate methodologies for financial and operational analysis, and conduct advanced investigations across multiple fiscal and administrative systems.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in public health
- Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and one year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity in the appropriate field of specialization
- Three years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization
- Two years as a City Research Scientist Level I can be substituted for the experience required
- Wide latitude for independent judgment and decision-making
- Ability to synthesize complex system-wide data into clear, actionable recommendations that support agency decision-making, policy development, and compliance obligations
