People Operations & ER Advisor – (6m FTC)

We’re Civica, a company that makes software to help deliver critical services for citizens worldwide. We’re seeking a People Operations & ER Advisor to work at the intersection of people operations, employee relations, and strategic project delivery within a global technology organization focused on public value.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in people operations, employee relations, or advisory-based HR roles
• Proven ability to apply employment legislation in practical and commercially sound contexts
• Experience independently managing low to medium risk employee relations cases
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end employee lifecycle
• Confidence operating as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and people leaders
• Experience working in volume-based or operational HR environments
• Ability to analyse people operations and ER data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Strong judgement, discretion, and attention to detail when handling sensitive information
• Experience supporting or delivering HR or people-related projects
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes to agreed timeframes
• Working knowledge of regional people policies and practices within Australia
• Qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline (preferred)
