Hi, my name is Lennard Hulsbos and we’re looking for a product marketeer within a marketing team that’s rebuilding. This is not for the faint of heart; we’ve set our sights on a fairly ambitious growth trajectory and have been hiring amazing people across the business over the last 6 months. We’re a hands-on, straight-forward and growing team that is looking to set a new standard in digital commerce; we’re not a start-up and while our past successes inspire us, we’re building a new standard for digital commerce in the B2B space specifically.
Your Background
About you (we think):
As a Product Marketeer, you will play a critical role in helping businesses all over the world understand the value of cleverbridge; how connected intelligent commerce experiences fuel business growth.
You will be the voice of our existing and future clients in close collaboration with your Product Management and client-facing colleagues and use your knowledge to craft memorable messaging and content with our content team. Of course you’d be designing the full funnel marketing program(s) that attract prospects and empower our sales teams while your product tips and tricks will help grow our clients’ businesses. You will create programs that help cleverbridge’s partner ecosystems, collaborating to create relevant content for our different communities. Additionally, you’ll serve as the internal team’s go-to source for ecommerce market insights and as a result will play a pivotal role in helping cleverbridge improve its product, services, and go-to-market.
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS marketing experience, with 3+ years of experience in industry marketing and/or product marketing positions
- Prior experience working directly for ecommerce companies a plus
- Hubspot experience a (big) plus
- Deep knowledge of the ecommerce industry, with a focus on companies and platforms that serve small and mid-market businesses
- Understanding of the SaaS market and growth B2B market — and the routes to market utilized to reach these customers
- Strong planning and organizational skills required, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams globally
- Deep experience writing external-facing marketing copy for use in websites, collateral, and other channels
- Ability to work strategically as a proactive self-starter with independent decision making, as well as ensuring operational delivery and having a “hands on” approach when necessary
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategy successfully while collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus, with effective project management expertise
Your Responsibilities
- Craft the message and supporting thought leadership themes for our product solutions
- Own ecommerce GTM strategy and cross-functional 1-to-many marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with our partners to drive co-marketing and teach our clients about the value of our joint offerings
- Lead ecommerce market research to understand the needs of ecommerce companies and to bring those insights to the cleverbridge organization
- Deliver market insights to ecommerce stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, Product, and SDRs
- Co-create and co-deliver enablement materials and training content for our Sales and Customer Success teams, helping them to speak intelligently and effectively with prospects and clients alike
- Be an active participant in the ecommerce industry, attending and speaking at key industry events, monitoring and participating in industry groups, etc. (previous speaking experience a plus)
- Engage with leaders and influencers in ecommerce, leveraging their voice as part of our marketing and messaging
- Be a creative thinker who actively shapes the ways cleverbridge differentiates our product offerings in a crowded and complex ecosystem
- Create and execute innovative strategies and marketing plans that drive awareness, demo-requests and product adoption.
