Engineer 4 – Senior Data Engineer

Comcast is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its cybersecurity business unit, where you will be a key product builder and developer of the DataBee product, a security, risk and compliance data fabric platform. The role involves developing and executing critical portions of the product, interacting with security vendors and product data, and having ongoing technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
• At least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Experience in deploying systems and applications, monitoring, ETL, and configuration management
• Working knowledge with ETL systems and storage/planning with Snowflake, Databricks, lake house or similar technology
• Strong understanding and experience with structured query language (SQL), JSON and regex
• Familiarity with cybersecurity logging tools and formats (eg. CEF, syslog, EDR logs, AV logs, FW logs, etc.)
